Le Festival est organisé par le Collectif Nacéo, actif à Zurich, Paris et Montréal depuis plus de quinze ans. Il propose six pièces, trois en français, trois en anglais, qui revisitent les classiques de la littérature française et font également la part belle aux créations contemporaines.
Venue organised by Naceo Theatre company, active in Zurich/Paris/Montreal for more than 15 years. Six plays are scheduled—three in French and three in English—that revisit the classics of French literature while also highlighting contemporary creations.

La pièce classique de Molière revue par le collectif Nacéo dans une version condensée, dynamique et accessible aux petits et grands.

NOS JUSTES
Un groupe d’amis est réuni autour d’un apéritif lorsque la télé annonce un nouvel attentat à la préfecture de police de Paris. La conversation glisse immédiatement vers la peur, la responsabilité, et le sens de la violence politique: chacun exprime une position différente — du réactionnaire à l’empathique, en passant par la prof réfléchie et les hésitations d’un timide ou d’un étudiant en droit. Pour comprendre et débattre, l'une d'eux propose de lire puis de jouer des extraits des Justes d’Albert Camus.

4.48 PSYCHOSE
4.48 Psychose relate la lutte d’une protagoniste, seulement désignée par la lettre S., contre la dépression et peut-être aussi la psychose. Dans un texte protéiforme, S. retrace sa lutte pour faire cohabiter corps et esprit, pour trouver l’amour (mais peut-être surtout pour s’aimer soi-même). La pièce de Sarah Kane relate ses échanges avec le personnel médical, sa recherche d’équilibre dans les psychotropes, mais surtout dans l’acte d’écriture, et le suicide comme seule réponse possible à l’inexpugnable difficulté de vivre.

4.48 PSYCHOSIS
4.48 Psychosis recounts the struggle of a protagonist, referred to only by the letter S., against depression and perhaps also psychosis. In a multifaceted text, S. recounts her struggle to bring her body and mind into harmony, to find love (but perhaps above all to love herself). The play recounts her exchanges with medical staff, her search for balance in psychotropic drugs, but above all in the act of writing, and suicide as the only possible response to the insurmountable difficulty of living.

PANIC ROOM
Panic Room is set in an ordinary shared apartment. Max and Alan kill time and their frustrated desires with dirty stories, joints, alcohol, and video game philosophy about life and women. Everything seems calm until the arrival of Tadge, Max's childhood friend: now in the military, he has hastily deserted his garrison.
Tadge claims to be pursued by a mysterious paramilitary militia. Passions are unleashed, set free by the traumatized soldier. Idleness gradually gives way to confusion, madness, and terror. Truths are revealed.

THE OTHER SIDE
The other side is an ode to the mundane. The ordinary in all its splendor.
The other side is a collective creation by the Nacéo collective, exploring what spectator theater could be. The show was born out of improvisations carried out in workshops and organized with a common goal: to make the audience both the subject and object of the show. These improvisations were then reworked and integrated into an overall show, structured to place the spectator at the center of the theatrical experience.
The other side is the anticipation that the show allows. What if, for once, nothing happened at the theater?
